First Capital Chapter was Chartered on February 7, 1991.
We host a monthly dinner and business meeting at a local restaurant in New Bern. We currently are meeting at Paula’s Italian Restaurant at 3946 MLK Jr. Blvd New Bern on the fourth Tuesday of the month. This meeting is an opportunity to meet some of the members of the club and socialize with like-minded car enthusiast.
The meeting starts with dinner at 6:00 pm followed by a short business meeting at 7 pm. Visitors are always welcome. Owning an antique car is not a requirement to join the AACA.

We are a relatively small chapter, in spite of our size we have hosted five National AACA car shows – the first in 1994, second in 1999, third in 2007, fourth 2010, and a fifth in 2015 as well as multiple AACA Grand National Meets in the downtown New Bern streets.
