Hello Furnitureland Club Members! We hope 2014 is being good to you! Let’s get started by updating you with 2013-year end events.

Ray and Deborah Haynes ended up their car showing year at the “Hendricks Motor 2013 Christmas for Kids” held on Nov. 23, 23 2013. This benefit for Shriners Hospital was sponsored by Carolina Camaro Association. Ray and Deborah took home a “Top 100” with their 1976 Stingray. This Stingray is a new show car for Ray and Deborah in addition to their 1992 Corvette LT1. They attended around 28 car shows events in 2013 and most were benefits for cancer related illnesses and for children. Good Luck with your car showing hobby Ray and Deborah!

December 7, 2013 Furnitureland Club held its Christmas party in the fellowship hall of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Thomasville, NC.  Our Hosts for the evening were Red and Carolyn Charles  and Jack Harris.  After good food and party fun, we held our club elections for the new year. Our 2014 officers have remained the same with Jack Harris-President, Carlton Johnson-VP and Chaplin, Francis Hall-Secretary, Treasurer-Kay Stamey, and Emily  Hancock-Region Reporter.  Here’s to a busy and enjoyable New Year.
